Instructions for working with the web application "Inventory of network computers"

Initial registration takes place in the Telegram bot @systemtools_bot.

Registration procedure in the system:

Open by link bot Telegram on your mobile phone and press "Start".
In the bot`s functional menu (three dots in the upper corner), select the "Send your phone" item.
In response, a password will be sent to enter the personal section on the site. In the future, the password can also be changed via bot Telegram, by selecting the appropriate item in the menu.
To authorize on the site, you must use the phone number in the international format (for example, 380673332211) and the password received from the bot during registration as a login.

Client installation procedure:

Log in to the site "Inventory".
Go to section Basic settings in the "Tools" menu.
Download the archive with the client part of the program and unpack it to the root of the "C" drive. As a result, the executable file must be located along the path "C:\pcinv_client\inventory.exe"
Download the custom key file and place it in the folder "C:\pcinv_client\"
Create a new group in a section Basic settings.
Download the group key file and place it in the folder "C:\pcinv_client\"
Run the "inventory.exe" executable file on the local computer. After about 1 minute, the report will appear in the system.
Some antivirus programs block the launch of the executable file. You need to add it to exclusions or to the antivirus whitelist.

To automate the process of collecting reports, you need to add a task to the "Task Scheduler" of the computer operating system to launch an executable file with a specified time interval. To get a more complete report, the task must be performed with the highest rights.
To inform about changes in the configuration and diagnosed parameters of computers, you need to add your chat number to the subscription by the type of information in the sectionTelegram bot settingsin the "Tools" menu.
